Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a charming and authentic style, situated on the ground floor, making it romantic and authentic, but the room was not made up until 5 pm after the first night, which was a bit annoying. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful without being invasive, resembling a stay in an English country house hotel with delightful French cuisine. The location was excellent, overlooking the estuary with beautiful gardens, although it could have been more attractive. The dining experience was overpriced, and the breakfast could have been better. Overall, a lovely building with comfortable accommodations but with room for improvement.
The hotel is a true gem, offering gorgeous and very comfortable rooms at a fantastic price point compared to others in the area. The service is akin to a delightful English country house hotel with a French touch, where the staff is extremely hospitable and ready to assist with valuable information about Honfleur and its surroundings. The location, overlooking the estuary with a beautiful garden, is remarkable, providing a peaceful retreat just a short stroll away from the beach and a charming walk to the heart of Honfleur. However, the dining experience, although good, may be considered overpriced with some aspects needing improvement. Nonetheless, the hotel boasts a lovely setting with attractive grounds that enhance the overall stay.
